The Stratford Perth Museum, located 300 metres west of Stratford, has gone through some major changes over the past five years and broke an attendance record with 20,000 visitors in 2018.
That is due in part to a transition to exhibits of wider and even international interest such as the Anne Frank House exhibit, an Inuit art exhibit from the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Franklin Expedition display from Parks Canada and the Royal Ontario Museum.
That said, the game-changing decision for the Museum was certainly the Justin Bieber exhibit, Steps to Stardom, which debuted Family Day 2018 to turn away crowds. The Bieber exhibit has been extended until at least the Fall of 2019.
Additionally, the museum has become a venue for book launches, speakers, adult learning events, March Break and PA Day camps, weddings, public sessions for every level of government and also as a site for local industries for training or sessions with contractors and sub-contractors ahead of major projects.
Come on out and join the Stratford Perth Museum and the staff & board of the Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce for some snacks, prizes, and lively networking! Free for members, $10 for non-members.
