Organized in 2002, the Technical Training Group is a partnership between local industry, business, education and government, with a mandate to provide local access to skills development for businesses and workers. Its goal is to ensure that local employers have the skilled workers they need to succeed in the marketplace.
The 12-member volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of industry champions and skills development experts who understand the dynamics of the community. Rather than focusing on shareholder profits, TTG operates as a not-for-profit corporation, committed to serving the needs of local industry, youth and working families.
Technical Training Group’s primary focus is local, affordable technical and skilled trades’ training. Training services range from basic prep and readiness programs for successful integration into the labour force to advanced/upskill training for employees and custom specific training for companies.
