Sarah Hamza

Sarah Hamza is Director of Audience Development at the Stratford Festival, responsible for team of 250 employees that lead all guest-facing departments including Box Office, Cafes and Catering, Front of House, Retail, Distribution and Reception.  Sarah joined the Festival in early 2014, arriving with 10-years progressive leadership experience gained through a series of Management roles at Purolator Inc. based in Mississauga, Ontario.   Her career progressed through a series of strategic positions in strategy and government relations, culminating in her final role as Director, Public Affairs.  Reporting to Purolator’s CEO as part of the 7 member management team for the billion dollar organization, Sarah was responsible for building customer loyalty and engagement through a variety of external relations initiatives.


Prior to joining Purolator, Sarah earned an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario where she also served as business instructor for four years.


Sarah moved to Stratford in 2012 with her husband and two small daughters.  Since moving to the community, she has been an active volunteer, working with the Stratford Perth Community Foundation, Stratford Rotary Club, Town and Gown Advisory group and serves as co-chair of the annual “Strides for Sophie” charity run.
