The Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business at the University of Waterloo offers undergraduate and graduate programs in digital arts and design within a global business framework.Students combine creative exploration, critical thinkinganddesign research to create positive technology-enhanced user experiences.Their students and faculty respond to current design challenges and anticipate possible digital futures, often in collaboration with partners outside the university. In particular, they take a human-centered approach to technology while being mindful of social, cultural and environmental impact. The Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business Programs: The Global Business and Digital Arts (GBDA) and the Master of Digital Experience Innovation (MDEI), are both the first of programs of their kind in Canada to combine creativity, technology and business with a human-centered approach.
